Later that day I noticed a guy arrive. He was about 45, with a very kind and pleasant face. He walked around the entire hall for a while and then he just went towards Marina and introduced himself. From the beginning they were sitting together and looking at each other with obvious interest. Later he left briefly and came back with a bouquet of flowers. The bouquet was not large, but was very nicely arranged, romantic and appropriate.
There was another surprise that day. There was a lottery where Russian ladies could win a little money. The lottery started, and the staff member who conducted the lottery asked me to help her by pulling the tickets with the numbers from the basket. When you take out the ticket the number of the winner would be revealed. It was the third ticket, which I took from the basket and I called the number. And surprise! Marina was the winner!
She and Mike looked really happy by that surprise. I think that it was a good omen for them and they felt that also. There was a smile on his face, and a little shy smile on her face. During the rest of the day they were sitting together holding hands.

The next day I was visiting with a man from California and I saw Marina and Mike in the hotel lobby with an attractive quiet older woman. It was her mother, who had actually come to Moscow with her. Russian ladies are very traditionally oriented, so it was nothing unusual. They were seated together.
The same day there was a bus tour around Moscow. Marina and Mike invited me to go with them. After the bus tour I asked Marina, "How are the things going between you"? She looked happy, smiled and said, "He said it was love at first sight, he saw me and just fell in love. He told me that he couldn't believe to his eyes, that I was the lady he had been seeing in his dreams." And then she added, "I felt something very special towards him as if I had known him for a long, long time……"
