"So, how will he recognize this unique Russian lady?" I kept asking myself. Asking lots of questions about his likes and dislikes I managed to discover some of his requirements: The lady he was hoping to meet should be 30 to 40, very slim and have dark long hair. Her profession should be connected with art somehow. He was in the pottery business and wanted his Russian wife to enjoy the earth arts and be able to paint the pots he made. So two and a half days had gone by and many of the men had already left the reception hall to begin their evening with a favorite Russian lady.

Many months later I got a call from America from a guy for whom I had worked before. He told me he had seen me on a Russian ladies tour video working for one very weird man who was sitting, talking to no Russian ladies. If he only knew….. Midway through this last social a good looking lady entered the room. Certainly the last lady to arrive. She was not a girl - about 35 years old, had long dark hair, slim and had a nice smile. Later she explained to me that she only at the last moment remembered that the last Russian ladies social would be on this date. She almost decided that it was too late to bother.
